Gene Simmons Voting for the Dead Sea The singer, accompanied by his wife Shannon Tweed, is currently touring Israel to film two episodes for his reality show "Gene Simmons Family Jewels", as a guest of the Tourism Ministry. His first time back in Israel after 51 years, the visit was an emotional one for the Israel-born Simmons, who was reunited with family members during the visit. Simmons took time out of his busy touring and filming schedule to check out the legendary black mud at the Dead Sea and, after enjoying some rest and relaxation at the lowest point on earth, voted for the Dead Sea in the finals of the New7Wonders of Nature campaign
