The recently-opened, wheelchair-accessible Utopia Orchid Park in Central Israel, built on 40,000 square meters of land, offers tourists and visiting families a unique attraction, within easy reach of Tel Aviv, Netanya and Haifa.
This unique botanical-ecological garden includes an indoor, air-conditioned orchid park in which some 20,000 orchids from tens of different species grow; a rain forest with tens of thousands of tropical plants including carnivorous plants, waterfalls and lush greenery; a butterfly garden where hundreds of beautiful butterflies flourish; an animal park with a wide variety of animals and birds and two plant mazes, one designed in the classical English style and the other, a more challenging ficus maze on two levels and spread over 2000 meters. The large, well-shaded outdoor area includes relaxation areas and play equipment for children.
Café Utopia, located at the entrance to the park, serves breakfast and light lunches and the park’s nursery has orchids and other tropical plants for sale.
The park is open seven days a week (entrance fee).
