The Passenger

A newly rediscovered opera by Mieczysław Weinberg, considered one of the masterpieces of the twentieth century. Sung in several languages: Hebrew, Yiddish, English, French and Russian. This opera relates
the tribulations of women in a concentration camp, brought together from all over Europe, as they journey to escape from the terrible past of war years.
Directed by David Pounteny, with the Israel Opera Choir and the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon Letzion. See website for exact dates and times​
