KahaNov VineYard

Kahanov Vineyard

Gedera

General information:

The winery was established in 2004 and it produces wine on a small scale, with several thousands of bottles annually. What is unique about the winery is that it is situated in the heart of the family’s vineyards. Growing wine grapes is a family tradition, since Eliezer Kahanov, the grandfather, planted the first vineyard when he reached Gedera at the beginning of the twentieth century. The winery tours are according to the season, and include becoming familiar with the wine production process, a visit to the vineyard, guided tastings and the option of various study workshops. In addition, a tour of Gedera can be booked in advance, as well as various activities such as cycling and a trip in ATV vehicles. During the harvest season the winery offers pick your own fruit activities in the pomegranate and peach orchards, and raspberry fields.
