The Margalit Winery is a small family winery which was established in 1989 and is known for being Israel’s first boutique winery. The winery was initially in Kfar Bilu, and moved to its current location, near Hadera, in 1994. The winery produces around 20,000 bottles annually of the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc varieties. The grapes come from two vineyards owned by the winery, one next to Kadita in the Merom Hagalil region, and the second in the Binyamina area.
By prior arrangement only.
How to get there:
The winery is on Hadera’s southern border in a structure which previously served as a citrus fruit packing house. It can be accessed by a dirt road which turns eastwards from Road 4, close to the memorial to Avshalom Feinberg at the edge of Hadera. Please ask for telephone directions from the winery employees.
