The Yellin House – Motza
This charming recently restored 19th-century building was a hotel where Jaffa –Jerusalem travelers could spend their last night before reaching the Holy city. It was built by the pioneering Yellin family, who purchased land and a spring here in what is now the capital’s hillside suburb of Motza. The hotel became a synagogue, where a local congregation now prays, and the lands became one of the country’s first Jewish farms. You can combine your visit to the Yellin House with a nature hike in nearby Nahal Halilim
